As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, in the spring of 2020 Township Council made it a priority to help local businesses. One of the initiatives was a shop local multimedia campaign to promote local shops, restaurants, and services.

to do it in a way that ensures that Selwyn continues to be a great place to live, work and enjoy.”
- Andy Mitchell, Mayor for Selwyn Township
